In less than one week, the annual re:publica will open its gates again. Among the approximately 850 speakers will be Caroline de Cock. She is a Coordinator at Copyright for Creativity (C4C) will kick off the new #FixCopyright campaign!

The European Commission has announced its proposal on a copyright reform for the upcoming September. In the following months, the European Parliament as well as the EU member states will broadly discuss this proposal. Therefore it is now the right time to steer the debate in the right direction towards a modern copyright that promotes creativity and innovation and that works across borders.

That is why Carolien de Cock will speak about what to expect from the Commission's proposal before she will kick off the new #FixCopyright campaign that advocates for a more ambitious 21st century copyright reform.

There will also be a chance to meet her afterwards and to discuss how we can #FixCopyright.
