The link is not save, yet!
The EU Commission's public consultation on the role of publishers in the copyright value chain and on the 'panorama exception' is still running. That gives you the chance to speak up for a free Internet and to prevent the Commisson from proposing an ancillary copyright that will hurt everybody.
Fortunately, it's very easy to do so. Just sign the statement to say NO to a link tax. Put this idea to a final rest!
For a greater impact, you can answer the full consultation. To help you with that, Open Media, Mozilla, EDRi and Copyright 4 Creativity have jointly created an easy to use guide.
The more people raise their voices, the more the Commission has to listen and finally drop the idea. Make it happen!
In case you are still unsure what an the ancillary copyright is, go watch this short video and meet Ancy and spread the word!
